How we work
Our incentives can be linked to the outcome.
With a results-based fee, you pay us out of the money that has been verified and actually recovered, so the analysis can pay for itself.Refero always sets out the fee model before an assignment begins. The model is chosen according to the nature of the assignment, not from a fixed price list.
Results-based fee
Normally, this is how we work. Refero’s fee is calculated as a share of the amount that has been identified, verified and actually recovered for the client. This means that Refero carries the analysis risk. If there are no verified findings, there is no fee. The share varies between assignments and is agreed in advance.
Fixed price
For defined assignments with a clearly set scope, for example a one-off review of a specific flow, a fixed price can be agreed instead.
Initial fee combined with a commission
A smaller initial fee covers the initial scoping and data collection, while the rest of the fee is linked to verified results. Used when the scope of the assignment is harder to define in advance.
Training and knowledge transfer
Training on its own, for example on control plans and knowledge transfer, is priced separately and independently of the results of any parallel analysis.
Refero does not guarantee any particular result and does not describe any assignment as being without risk. The fee model is agreed in writing before the analysis work begins.
